Surfacing Standards Ltd win first stage work on pitch project

Nottingham Hockey Club are pleased to announce that Surfacing Standards Ltd have been awarded an initial contract to work on the artificial pitch replacement project at Goosedale.
Surfacing Standards Ltd are an independent sports pitch consultants, who provide a range of professional services, expert advice and dedicated leadership to produce first class artificial sports facilities.
The project team at NHC have completed an initial layout of the new playing surface and surrounds following consultation with Goosedale partners. This layout is now being developed into a full design specification by SSL to determine costs and secure planning permission.
The pitch replacement team commented "following a few months hard work to determine the layout and type of pitch we wanted, we are really pleased to hand over our initial ideas to Steve and his team at SSL to bring the project a big step closer to reality"
Next steps in the project will include selecting suppliers, fund raising with Plan4Sport and we hope constructing the new pitch later this year.
