Tuesday: 19.00 - 20.00 - 12 - 16 year olds

Sunday: 10.30 - 12.00 - all welcome

Our new coach Imran will be taking training - why not come along and learn from someone who has played at the top of the game!

Nottingham appoints new coach

Nottingham Hockey Club have appointed Imran Yousaf as their new coach.

Imran brings a wealth of hockey experience to the club, he has played at every level inlcuding the Olympics.

He is travelling over to take training on Tuesdays and will be with the 1st team on match days.

This is Imran's first coaching appointment, he is still playing league hockey with Barford Tigers.

We would like to wish Irman every success at Nottingham.

New captain's for 1st and 2nd team

Nottingham has appointed new team captains for the 1st and 2nd XI.

Kam is our new 1st team captain taking over from Alex Crabtree. Alex was captain of the 1st for 4 years.

Chris has taken over as captain of the 2nds, replacing David Sells who was skipper for 3 years.

We would all like to wish both Kam and Chris the best of luck for the forthcoming season and of course thank Alex and David for all their hard work over the last few years.

Curry Lounge to spice up Nottingham Hockey Club

Nottingham Hockey Club and the Curry Lounge today announced a sponsorship deal for the 2011/12 season.

Restaurant owner Raz said "one of the teams had their end of season meal with us in April - we all got on really well and they had a great time. We virtually decided to work with the club there and then".

Nottingham 1st team will be wearing new kit this season, proudly sporting the Curry Lounge logo. New Ist team captain Kam said " this is really great for the team and the start of my captaincy. We are all really looking forward to working with the Curry Lounge over the next year or so".

The Curry Lounge was recently voted the best Indian venue in the East Midlands at the English Curry Awards.

As a sponsor we welcome any players, families and supporters along to the restaurant. Just mention "Bully off" when you reserve or when you order and you can enjoy a further 20% off your food bill from the main menu. In addition, if you need car parking we recommend you park in the Crown Plaza hotel NCP on Wollaton street (less than 1 minute walk from us) and you will get free parking for 2 hours while at the restaurant. This has to be reserved so please call ahead as places are limited.

Fixtures wanted for our new 6th team

With a mixture of older players and juniors our 6th team is looking for fixtures (home / away) in the 2nd half of the season - level MRHA Central League NE2.

Junior training update

Training will resume in 2012 on Tuesday 10th January and Sunday 15th January - usual times.

Don't forget the U12 tournament this Friday 9th December from 7.00pm at Goosedale.
