Pre-Season Training

The committee have decided that men's pre-season training will resume on Tuesday 2nd September, 19:30 - 21:00 at Goosedale.

Please make every effort to attend to ensure we can run good quality drills.

New players are welcome and the cost of training is covered by membership fees once you join the club.

Indoor Hockey Cancellation

Unfortunately, we received confirmation this week that Arnold Hill Academy will not be honouring our sports hall bookings after Christmas, so we are now without an indoor venue.

As such, all indoor hockey activity is cancelled for the 2024/25 season unless a suitable alternative sports hall can be found at short notice.

Apologies to all who were looking forward to playing indoor hockey. Outdoor training will resume on 7th January.

Indoor Hockey Starting Soon

Indoor hockey is back for 2024/25, with the first session on Thursday 28th November at Arnold Hill School (NG5 6NZ), 20:00 - 21:00. The cost will be £4.00 per person per week.

Olympic Hockey

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games get underway this week, with the hockey tournament starting on Saturday.

Rush Cancelled This Wednesday

Given the clash of timings between rush hockey and the England v Netherlands semi-final in Euro 2024, it's not expected that we'll get enough people to run rush hockey this week, and therefore the decision has been taken to cancel it.

Rush hockey will resume as normal on Wednesday 17th July and continue through to the end of August.

Rush Hockey Returns

From May through to the end of August, Nottingham Hockey Club and Redhill Ladies Hockey Club are running rush hockey at Goosedale on Wednesdays from 19:30 - 21:00, at a cost of £3.00 per person per week.

Anyone aged 13+ is welcome to attend regardless of gender, experience or playing ability.

The first session is on Wednesday 1st May 2024.

MacMillan Cancer Coffee Morning

Our sister club, Redhill Ladies HC, are hosting an official Coffee Morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Care on Saturday 7th October 2023.

The coffee and cakes will be on sale from 9 o'clock in the morning until approximately midday. All proceeds will go completely to MacMillan Cancer Care, so please come along, show your support and watch some hockey while you're there!
